I've tried the constructive route before, but my comments were mysteriously never visible. Lots of excuses and lots of not my faults from everybody but no one had the intestinal fortitude to say sorry it was our mistake it won't happen again. Not to mention the hateful emails from your groupies, what a sad bunch they are.
So if you and your kind can send me hateful emails that are not constructive, I can return the favor to you. At least i have the guts to do it in a public setting, not like the cowards who hide behind private emails.
I am certain this won't be public because it exposes you for what you are and does not shower you with love and atta boys.

When I first purchased my Nikon D300 I was a little overwhelmed by all the menus and options. The D300 was such a big step up from what I had been using.
Fortunately soon after, I discovered Darrell Young's book Mastering the Nikon D300! Thanks to Darrell's book with its incredible detail, illustrations and photos I soon became very familiar with the menus and learned to get the most out of my new camera.
I still refer to that book occasionally. It is one of my best "accessories".
So, I owe a big thank you to Darrell Young for helping make the transition to the D300 so easy.

It depends on how the video is produced. There is a school of thought that says moire is not a factor in video because the down-sampling will fix it. Full crop as available in the D4 would still be a factor because there is no down-sampling. Can't recall if the D800 allows the 2x (or whatever) crop.

Like other folk, I’m not sure if it is the D800 or the D800E. In macro work, say photographing a fly’s head, what would the eyes look like? Or come to that the hairs on a bubble bee, the scales on a butterfly wing? Is the extra sharpness that much more on the E. It would seem now one knows the answer yet. Having put in an order for the D800 I am still wondering if it’s the right choice. Maybe it’s a good thing we have to wait for delivery, I can change my mind.
